I'm still not sure how to implement something like this with box2d, because I can't seem to access any of the usual movieclip parameters

Movieclip with multiple frames - upon contact, plays frame X

Or, upon contact, kill/remove mc...

this stuff is in the BoxMan demo level. For removal, look at the logic to remove the "points" dots. The animation I would recommend doOutsideTimeStep. I tend to get a ton of Alchemy errors when I move around on a timeline of a Box2D live object and don't use that function.
