I need a tutorial for Box2D and OpenGL in C++

Postby EMBT1 » Tue Jun 10, 2014 4:54 am

Box2D seems like it will be perfect for OpenGL graphics if you can align the coordinate systems. Is there any instructions for passing the coordinates back and fourth between Box2D and the OpenGL canvas?

Thanks
Larry

The testbed uses OpenGL. Checking out the source code for that would be a good place to start.

I suggest you check out Box2D tutorials by thecplusplusguy on Youtube. He is using OpenGL to render Box2D objects and explains everything in much detail. He has a funny accent, but you can understand him well. This is how I got into OpenGL and Box2D.
