I'm not seeing where the yellow points come from either :) Perhaps you could ask Erin for a better explanation, although I have to wonder why you really need to know this... if you're using them for some kind of decision making in your game, generally these points should not be relied on for anything more than a rough idea of where the two fixtures contacted. Could there be a simpler solution to what you're trying to do?

I was actually just trying to understand what a normal was and why RW Space Viking code did just that: get the normal and determine its direction. I guess I for caught up I trying to understand the physics more than the code. I don't like to just take things for granted :)
