[AS3] Strange syntax error with Vector...

Hello.

When i try do HelloWorld application using Box2D my complier throw syntax errors:

Code: Select all

b2World.as:871: 1084: Syntax error: expecting identifier before lessthan

And this line is:

Code: Select all

public function RayCastAll(point1:b2Vec2, point2:b2Vec2):Vector.<b2Fixture>


This same error show every time when Vectors is use... Some help?

When you are compilling are you asking it to be done in Flash Player 10 ?

Hmm, right... But in Flash CS3 i have publish only in Flash Player 9(and lower versions).
So, how to get Flash Player 10 in CS3? My version of flash player is 10.0.45.2.

For all that I know you'll need to get the Flash Player 9 Version of Box2D.

Or get CS4.

Vector is a class only supported in flash 10 if I remember correctly.

PS: I remember the same exact question being asked 1 or 2 weeks ago. Next time maybe a little search could have been faster.

I'm getting the impressing more people are using flash 9 than I thought. Perhaps I should make that the default on sourceforge, not the flash 10. (on the basis that people on older versions are probably less likely to appreicate the difference).
